the Maternity and child welfare association of pakistan (MCWAP)
MCWAP’s mission is to improve the health and well being of the people of Pakistan by focusing on the needs of women of childbearing age and children under 5 years of age. MCWAP helps HER identify schools in Pakistan that need libraries, helps coordinate the construction of many HER libraries, as well as assists in training the teachers to maintain each library.
The pakistani womens’ air force association (PAFWA)
PAFWA is a welfare organization which aims at providing social, educational and financial uplift to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) low paid employees and their families. PAFWA is also instrumental in identifying schools on Pakistani Air Force bases in need of libraries, in the distribution of books among those schools, and in the maintenance of those libraries. PAFWA also led the project to create four mobile library buses in Pakistan, which HER contributed to.
the atlas cultural foundation (ACF)
ACF collaborates with rural Moroccans to improve their quality of life and advance the Moroccan government’s current development goals. HER and ACF collaborated on the construction of a community library in the village of Amezray in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
